Hormones Part IV

by Lia Halsall

Any woman who’s had troubles with her hormones knows that there’s no easy fix to them. These things take time, a lot of time. It can be and has been a long and tedious road to recovery but by persevering you definitely reap the rewards in the end.

Last week I was back at my doctors office for my quarterly checkup to see what my blood results were. Across the board all of my levels had improved but I’m not quite there yet. I am another step closer to my health and well being goal and that’s all that really matters to me at the moment.

My DHEA, Progesterone & DIM dosages have all increased. So we’ll see what difference that makes when I go back in another three months right before I leave to go overseas. I still have a lot of work to do between now and then so there’s absolutely no time for slacking off in any way, shape or form. It’s full steam ahead from this point onwards once again.

I’m to continue on doing what I’m currently doing, ensuring though I get the adequate rest and recovery that my body and system needs. My Adrenal Fatigue is getting there and I do feel good, but it’s feeling great that I’m striving for. I know I can do it, I just have to remember that on those days when I’m not feeling as strong and confident. If all else fails, I can turn to my pleasure board I’ve got in my home office.

Little by little, step by step, day by day, is how I break it down and at the moment it’s working for me. I’ve never given up on myself and although many many times I’ve wanted to I haven’t and I won’t because quitters new win and winners never quit.
