Two months has passed, so I thought I best update my blog before another two months passes me by. That and a few friends have prompted me, so here I am.

In dot point form here’s what’s been going on in my life:

★  Live Laugh Love. Here a fellow blogger I know talks about her word for the year. Well mine’s not a word as such, it’s three words which best describes what I want for myself. It’s so significant to me that I’m getting it tattooed onto my body, I just haven’t decided where and when yet, I’m still deciding. Maybe I’ll get it when I’m in NYC or when I get back home, who knows.

★  My Web Designer has been working very hard on redesigning LiaHalsall.com. It’s coming along nicely and I hope to release it sometime soon.

★  25 days until I fly out for NYC.

★  April 2012 will see me come home after being away and deployed for nine months

For a while now I’ve been thinking about getting some more ink done and then by chance today, a girlfriend of mine gave me a brilliant idea over on Twitter. She suggested I could go to “NY Ink“. By luck Ami James for those that don’t know him, was a tattoo artist on the reality show “Miami Ink” and he’s now working in New York City.

So there is it, that’s the brilliant idea and I ♥ ♥ ♥ it. Now I’m trying to get us both appointments for our next tattoos by one of the worlds most amazing tattoo artists whilst we’re on holiday over there next year.

Me personally, I have two already in mind. “Mum & Dad” & “Live Laugh Love”. I’m not 100% sure yet where exactly on my body I want them but I trust that it’ll come to me in time. Where as my hubby is getting a tattoo in honour of our love. He’s getting “Our Everlasting Love” in Runes.

It’ll be great to share the experience together as husband and wife. We have a lot of linked spiritual beliefs and this experience will be very symbolic for a number of different reasons to the both of us.

Fingers crossed it happens.

After a nine month deployment and eating in a controlled mess environment, I’m definitely looking forward to getting back home to my organic whole food diet. Nothing tastes as good as being in shape feels in my opinion.

When I do eventually get home, which feels like forever away at the moment, I’m going to take a months leave for some well earnt rest and relaxation. Hubby’s home with me for the first couple of weeks which will be great and then I’m home alone for the remainder of the time.

So I’ve decided that I’m going to book myself in for a cleanse and detox retreat somewhere nice. I have a couple of places in mind,Gwinganna & The Byron. Both places look lovely and which ever place I don’t go to I’ll visit next year as I’m going to make this a yearly event for myself. After all, if I don’t look after my body it won’t look after me.

It’ll be a great opportunity to detox the mind body and soul after the last year away working ready to return to a normal living and working environment. If there is such a thing. Eating an organic diet will be a great start because we all know you are what you eat. Then there’s activities like morning walks followed by yoga classes all of which will be great for my skeletal and muscular system. Not forgetting all the luxurious pampering at their day spas, the choices are endless.

I’ve always wanted to go to one but never got around to it like most things in life. Not anymore, things are going to be different when I get home. I’m putting myself first and I’m going to take better care of myself. So much so I bought myself a LadyShip Organic Essence Extractor so that I could make green smoothies for breakfast. Michelle Nazaroff gave me the idea so I have her to thank for this positive change I’m making in my life.

Change is a great thing and I can’t wait to get home to make them next year.
