Precision Nutrition

Breakfast: Rolled Oats, Egg Whites, Apple & Cinnamon
Snack: Orange
Lunch: Chow Mein
Snack: Raw Almonds
Dinner: Basa Fillet & Green Salad

I bought Precision Nutrition last week to co-incide with my training programĀ Maximum Strength for 2010. For those that know me know that I’m a big fan of test driving new systems before I implement them. It’s kind of like getting a feel for them first and then tweaking them to suit my lifestyle. That way, when I implement them I can hit the ground running.

11th January sees the start of the first of three stages for our periodisation for 2010. Team Halsall is excited and we can’t wait for next year to arrive so we can start working towards our new goals.

So for the time being I’ll be focusing on making all the necessary changes as there are many to be made but it’s all good, I welcome change in my life. Our new training, supplementation, nutrition and water is nothing we’ve ever done before so like any change it’s taking some getting used too. They say that a change is as good as a holiday so I’m welcoming it all with open arms.

Lately I’ve been toying with the idea of video blogging using my webcam and youtube account. I tested everything on the weekend so I know that it works, just not sure yet. What do you guys think?

9 days and counting of work left before I take 6 weeks of leave. Not that I’m counting or anything. LOL!! Well it’s yet another productive week ahead so best I make a start on it all.

See you later alligators!

I think vlogging is a great idea. I’m going to look at doing that soon and have looked into some fancy cameras. Might need to get myself a better computer before I do though… LOL!! Definitely think vlogging is the way blogging is going to go, but I also believe there is always room for just written words. I don’t know about anyone else, but I take in information when I read it better than when I hear it. If I hear it I need to write it down :)

I just used my iMac Webcam. I’ll post one up this week and if you don’t mind letting me know what you think of the quality I’d really appreciate it Rae.

Are you going to use YouTube or do a direct upload? xxx

I just bought Precision Nutrition two weeks ago too! Have read it from front to back about 4 times now, its brilliant. I love Berardi’s approach to nutrition. He really takes it to the next level. His style of eating is keeping my energy high and my cravings at bay. I definitely rate it x

I’m still reading through it but so far I like what I have read. I can’t wait to implement everything and reap the benefits like you have Chelle. xxx

I especially like the super shakes, i have 1-2 a day. I find that meat and salad can get a bit monotamus and boring day in day out, but those keep your nutrition gourmet! x

Variety is the spice of life they say. I haven’t checked out the recipes yet Chelle. Which shake is your favourite?

Well i have had to make a few substitutions cos i dont eat dairy or use a greens supplement, but have tried the baked apple, banana cream and almond coconut shakes. But my two fav combos at the moment are banana, frozen blueberries, vanilla protein, rice milk, baby spinach, flax meal, water, ice- just like icecream! And also apple, frozen raspberries, cinnamon, vanilla protein, peppermint green tea, flaxmeal, ice. Yum!

I agree with Rae about the Vlogging, Lia. It’s definitely the way of the future…maybe you could combine it with written stuff such as your links etc and start off with one or two a week.
Looking forward to your first Vlog!

V-logging is great babe, just takes a hell of a lot of work to keep doing them… but it’s so much fun once they’re up! Plus it’s nice to look back on videos, remember the great memories!
