I'll try it again and if I get the same result I'll try using sweet leaf. Nothing ventured nothing gained right Yoda. :)

I guess you could try it again...although I don't really know how time would be a variable. I don't know why you couldn't taste the difference. I know that when I use Sweetleaf that's not a problem. I've never heard of Heavenly Herbs. That doesn't mean that the problem is the brand-- or that it isn't the brand. All I can tell you is that I definitely have not had that problem with SweetLeaf. You could try it again, or perhaps you could give SweetLeaf a whirl--if you still can't taste the sweetness again. For information about it, you can go to www.sweetleaf.com I wish I had more to tell you.

Heavenly Herbs is what I buy and I buy it from my organic store in both tablet form and a liquid concentrate. I only drink decaf now and it's never strong. I used two tablets in the coffee I was drinking and it made absolutely no difference. I then tried with two drops and the same again, no sweetness.

Maybe I should try it again, it has been a while now?

Wow. Usually if someone has a problem with the taste of stevia, they use an inferior brand, or they use too much--for the latter, it's just way too sweet! This is definitely new territory. Stevia is many, many times sweeter than sugar, so that is really weird! That has definitely never happened to me!
Um... was the coffee really strong? um....what was the brand you used? Some brands are now putting in things that mask their aftertaste. I nderstand that aftertastes come from the chemicals and solvents that are used during extration. SweetLeaf is the only brand that uses only pure water during extraction, so there is no aftertaste and therefore, is the most natural. Um...maybe there's something else in there that may delute the sweetness a little? I don't know, I'm just thinking. How much did you use? Of course, it shouldn't take very much stevia to taste the sweetness! Weird!
If you let know more details about when you used it and how you used it, maybe I can help you better!

I tried stevia before (tablet & liquid) but couldn't notice the difference Yoda. It was as if I didn't sweeten my coffee at all am I doing something wrong?
