Adrenal Fatigue: The 21st Centuary Stress Syndrome would have to be one of the most profound and interesting books I have ever read in my entire life. I can’t for the life of me put it down, it is that incredible! My mind has been opened up to so many new and different choices that finally, at long long last I see that there is a light at the end of my long tunnel. Now I know this is probably going to sound crazy but this book has been a pivotal turning point in my life and I really truly believe that I’ve turned a corner and am now heading in a new and exciting direction with a healthier and happier future. I just don’t think it I honestly believe it this time around and the pieces of my puzzle are all falling into place.
This year I’ve had this feeling and interest in learning more about the power of the mind because I honestly believe that it’s the key to unlocking my psychological and physical problems in life. Adrenal Fatigue: The 21st Centuary Stress Syndrome talks about turning lemons into lemonade and that’s exactly what I want and need to do in order to achieve my ultimate goal of a healthy mind body and spirit. But more about that later in another post.
This year is all about my year of healing after last years tragedies and I was described as a phoenix rising from the ashes. The phoenix is a mythical sacred firebird which has a 500 to 1,000 year life-cycle, near the end of which it builds itself a nest of myrrh twigs that then ignites; both nest and bird burn fiercely and are reduced to ashes, from which a new, young phoenix or phoenix egg arises, reborn anew to live again. This is true to how I’m currently feeling and thinking and this symbol is more than just symbolic in meaning to me. It’s given me new found inspiration and you’re going to be seeing a lot more phoenix’s in my future.
