Donna Jones Re-vamped Website

Donna Jones has recently re-vamped her website so why don't you check it out for yourself. And here's something I copied and pasted directly from her website that may be of interest:
"Also this year I have just started my personal training business, Fit Ambition which is something I have been wanting to do for a number of years but just never got around to it. For information on prices go to the Fit Ambition page on this site or contact me via email. I will be training clients from Empire Fitness on the Gold Coast which is a fantastic facility and one of the best equipped on the coast. After 15 years of training and competing I am looking forward to sharing my fitness and training secrets with you." -- Donna Jones.

The easy way out
Avoiding effort is more difficult than just going ahead and getting it done. Because not only do you spend time and energy avoiding the effort, you also must suffer the consequences of failing to do the work.
Take the time to do what must be done. Don't get caught up in making judgments about whether it is easy or difficult, pleasant or unpleasant, for that will just hold you back.
If you're interested in finding the easiest way out, consider this. The easiest way is to just go ahead and get it done.
Is there something you've been avoiding because it will require too much effort? Is there really anything at all that you've gained by putting it off?
Imagine the sense of satisfaction and release that you'll enjoy when the task is completed. Think of how great it will be when you're no longer constantly dreading it.
Then get busy and get it done. Make the effort, finish the work, and you'll find that you've truly taken the easy way out.

They're here!

Jo Rogers & Donna Jones arrived safe and sound last night. They have a pretty jam packed schedule organised whilst they're down here. I have no doubt that all their clients are going to be far better off after attending their Get Ready 2007 Seminar for the remainder of this years competition season. :o)
I won't be around on blogger very much this weekend, obviously. LOL!! So in the meantime, have a great weekend and I'll be back to update as soon as possible. :o)

I have happy feet....
Lucky me, my boss knocked me off at 1000h so I'm at home now. No rest for the wicked though, it's to be straight into the kitchen doing food preparation ready for next week. Any opportunity I have to get ahead I'll jump at, especially with the weekend I have planned ahead. :o)
Well I pick the girls up from the airport tonight at 2045h, I can't wait to see them both and I know it's going to be great weekend. I've known Jo Rogers for about five years now but haven't had the pleasure of meeting Donna Jones. We've communicated via email and she comes across as lovely, I'm sure she's that and more in person. :o)
I really must get into the kitchen now, I can hear it calling me. LOL!! Only kidding, I'm not that crazy just yet. Have a great weekend and don't do anything I wouldn't do kids. LOL!! ;o)

DOMS

Okay so I woke up this morning to my 0525h alarm and now I'm sitting down at my notebook and it's 2000h. *scratching my head confused* What happened to today, I know it's around here somewhere. Have you seen it? I made the mistake of blinking and I missed it. Golly gosh today flew by for me. Well it's getting late for this little black duck so unfortunately this post is going to be pretty short and sweet. Until tomorrow. :o) xx

Up to you
You will never solve your problems by getting other people to change. The way to move beyond whatever is holding you back is to make positive changes within yourself.
The problem is not the particular situation you are in. The problem is the way you interpret and relate to that situation.
The problem is not the way you are treated by others. The problem is the way you allow the actions of others to affect you.
The problem is not what has happened in the past. The problem is that you're letting it continue to hold you back.
Take complete responsibility for a problem, and suddenly you are ninety percent of the distance toward solving it. For when you truly take responsibility, you gain real and powerful control.
Fully accept that it is up to you to get where you choose to go. And you'll find everything necessary to make it so.

I'm baaaaack.. LOL!!
Man I feel pumped! This morning's training session seriously rocked my socks off. LOL!! I know this is going to sound crazy, of which I am at time I know, but I've fallen in love with training all over again. I feel so damn good at the moment and am getting really excited about my future now, it's about time too! LOL!!
I have a huge weekend this weekend as Jo Rogers & Donna Jones are staying with me whilst they're in town for their Get Ready 2007 Seminar. I mean, 7 x Ms Australia and a Fitness Pro staying under my roof, how lucky am I! Although they have a pretty busy schedule I don't know how much time I'll really see them but something is better then nothing I always say. I'll be buying a Style on Stage singlet to add to my collection of training clothing. Jo Rogers has been designing my posing costumes ever since I started and let me tell you her work is nothing short of amazing not to mention beautiful. So of course I'll be checking out her stock whilst she's down here and discussing next years posing costume, the cut and colour are decided all that's left is my embellishments but I already have some ideas that I'm seriously considering. I'll be putting my order and deposit in at the end of this year because I know how incredibly busy she is now. As I always say you can never be to organised. LOL!! Jo always laughs at me at how organised I am, she thinks it's funny. :o)
Well I've just finished compiling my shopping list ready for next week, everything's been bought forward this week due to our weekend. There's no room for any excuses and this is where time management all comes into it.
PPPPPP = Prior Planning & Preperation Prevents Piss Poor Performance
Everything can still be achieved if I plan and organise it which is what I've done. Next week we're having chicken mushroom asparagus risotto and Vietnamese pho bo, we have this great noodle book which has some really great recipes. This is one a noodle soup and seeing that they're rice noodles I can have them as there's no gluten in them. *woo hoo* I am so loving food at the moment, yes it takes a little extra effort to plan and prepare but my psychological and physical health is worth the effort. You get out of life what you put into it and I couldn't agree more.
I'm typing this up at work to again maximise my time management, I'm getting pretty good at this aren't I. LOL!! So it's time for me to get changed and head back to the gym for a cardio circuit, I'm going to do 10 minutes each on the incline treadmill, rowing machine and then the bike. Considering the weather outside it'll help me to warm up and keep warm for a little while at least. Our gym doesn't have any heating so anything that encourages me get warm and/or sweat has my vote. LOL!!
I'm out of here, have a great day! :o)

Another successful day done and dusted......
Life is pretty good and I’m still taking things one day at a time the moment. I’m eating all my deliciously healthy pre-prepared meals and snacks, taking all my supplements at the appropriate times, also managing to drink more than 3 litres a day. I’ve managed to stick to my daily goals and things are progressing along nicely. I haven’t weighed myself, taken measurements or tested body fat. My primary focus is to have a healthy mind, body and spirit. Once I’ve got through say my first month and feel that I’m finally coming to grips with everything then I’ll start monitoring my progress. But for the time being what I’m currently doing is way more important than anything else. I’m determined to follow in the footsteps of our lovely Miss Rae. This chosen sport of ours is exactly that, a choice, so therefore we must be of a healthy mind, body and spirit. This is a lifestyle and if something’s broken then we have to fix it and fixing it is exactly what I’m doing. That way, when next year rolls around and it’s time to compete again I won’t have to deal with any of the issues I have in the past. It’ll be a walk in the park so to speak. LOL!!
So the moral of this story is this sport doesn’t have to be as challenging or even an issue in any way shape or form. Well not for me personally anyway, I can and will be a 100% healthy figure competitor. :o)

Good Morning Melbourne!
Daniel's gone out fishing for the day in hope that he catches some brim. I'm hoping he does as there's nothing better then fresh grilled fish with a squeeze of lemon juice for dinner. *hmmm* Me on the other hand will be spending my day in the kitchen, below is a list of what I have to prepare and cook:
Tartare Sauce (cottage cheese, gherkin & capers)
Protein Pancakes
Chicken Vegetable Meatloaf
So on that note I best get into the kitchen. But before I do I've purchased yet another resource book, I'm getting quite a collection now. LOL!! This book was recommended to me and I can't wait to read it. So here's a little about it until I report back my thoughts on it.
