Yesterday afternoon I ventured back into the city for an appointment and to visit David Jones. The lovely ladies at Anthea Crawford had rang earlier in the week to let me know that my size eight dress had come into the store. This time around thankfully it fitted me like a glove so I was one happy lady. I just can’t wait to wear it now, luckily I still have two more weddings to attaned so I don’t think I’ll have any problems getting wear out of it.

MAC Cosmetics had also contacted me to say that they couldn’t get new stock of the Makeup Case so they offered me 10% discount for the display one which I happily accepted. It took me hours last night to sort through all my makeup, clean it and even wash my makeup brushes. But as you can see in the photos it’s all organised now and well worth all the waiting and trouble, I couldn’t be happier. Now all I need is to buy more to fill it up. LOL!!

Also I forogt to mention that since being on this elimination diet I’ve also had to change my skincare products to Clinique. Unfortunately I’m only allowed to use fragrance-fee products. I was pleasantly surprised with how great my skin felt and looked since using their products. It was obviously meant to be so I’ll stick with Clinique.

Hi,
I’m looking for fitness models both male & female for a Leading Australian Fitness Magazine for potential workout /cover & general fitness shots for next years issues, we’d like to use Australian talent to feature in the page’s. For the guy’s they can’t be to big (more a athletic lean mean look) as the mag is not fully focused on bodybuilding but more across the board fitness. So I’m looking for fit couple’s for cover shots as it’s both a Magazine for Men & Women.
Any one interested can drop me a line at dallas@lindyolsen.com and a couple of pictures would be great as well. It doesn’t matter what state you’re living in, if you get the nod I’ll come to you for the photo shoot.

This morning I woke up with doms in my glutes and quads. It just goes to show that you don’t need to spend hours training in the gym to benefit from it. As long as whatever you do is done with the correct form, good technique and maximum effort you will benefit from it. It’s not how much you do, it’s what you do.
So today my training headed in a totally different direction. Hubby (bless him) introduced me to sled sprints. It’s a high intensity lower body cardio working and here’s what we actually did:
★ 10 x 40m Sled Sprints (30 second rest in-between)
★ 2 Minute Rest
★ 10 x 40m Sled Sprints (30 second rest in-between)
Then once we’d finished it was into the cardio room for a low intensity lower body cardio workout. By the time I was finished my legs were spent and I was covered in sweat from head to toe. I’m feeling it now, let me tell you. Between doms from yesterday’s weight training and today’s sled sprints I’m spent.LOL!! I’m dreading what tomorrow morning will be like, oh the pain of it all.
The next three days at work I’ll be on course so more than likely I won’t have time to post. I’ll be getting up at 0430hrs just so I can squeeze it all in, there’s no excuses for missing out on health and fitness.

Enjoy the rest of your week and I’ll be back to catch up over the weekend.
Last night in bed I was reading my “The Eat-Clean Diet” book and thinking of different ways that I can make my porridge.
At the moment this is what my porridge consists of due to my elimination diet:
1/2 Cup Rolled Oats
1/2 Cup Rice Milk
1/2 Cup Water
1/2 Teaspoon Vanilla Paste
1/2 Teaspoon White Sugar (for sweetness)
Once I’m finished challenging here’s what ingredients I want to experiment with:
Rolled Oats
No-Fat Milk
Water
Vanilla Protein Powder
LSA
Vanilla Paste
Cinnamon
Nutmeg
Sultanas
All I have to do is spend some time in the kitchen making up small batches using different combinations of the above ingredients.
It’s really just trial and error and finding what works for me.
I have no doubt that I’ll come up with the perfect recipe and then we’ll live happily ever after. LOL!!
I’m not training my upper body this week as a preventative for my shoulder.
So this is what today looks like:
1 x 5km Bike Ride Into Work
2 x 5/4/3 Deep Squats
2 x 5/4/3 Leg Extensions
3 x 20 Exercise Ball Ab Crunches
1 x Max-OT Cardio
1 x 5km Bike Ride Back Home
It’s only for this week and then it’s back to normal again next week. *yippee*
I’m seeing the surgeon in a couple of weeks time so I’ll have a better idea of where I’m heading with my training.
Either way, I’ll just get on with it and accept whatever life deals me. Good bad or otherwise, I’m ready to accept my destiny.
It won’t stop me competing next year so it really doesn’t matter that much. It’ll just require a few adjustments, that’s all.
Today I consider to be a relatively quiet day training wise, but when you look at it like that it really isn’t that quiet is it.
It’s amazing how your perspective changes over time.
I’ve also started preparing for next years competitions in other areas also.
Things like having IPL for my underarms and my brazilian.
Have hair will nuke, that’s my motto! LOL!!
I’ve had incredible results. I have no hair left under my arms and only require one or two more sessions for my brazilian.
I’ll keep going until it’s absolutely all gone.
It’ll make life so much easier when it comes to comp time. It’s one less thing I’ll have to wax. LOL!!
I’ve also started tanning at the solarium again. I look something like casper the ghost at the moment and I’m not a big fan of the spray tan.
Plus my skins in desperate need of some vitamin d. In Melbourne we don’t necessarily see regular sunshine so of to the solarium I go.
I take all the necessary precautions and in the past I’ve got good results so I should have a good base tan by the end of the year.
It’s time for me to go, much work to do.
I hope you all have a fantastic week.
Enjoy.

Leaky Gut.
She performed iridology on me and that’s what she believes I have.
I’m kind of sitting on the fence about the diagnosis because alternative medicine is very new to me.
I’m keeping an opened mind though.
So I’ll see my doctor tomorrow morning and request that he runs the applicable tests for it.
You just never know do you.
I don’t really know a great deal about it so I’ve been researching on the internet over the weekend.
If anyone knows anything about it please leave a comment and/or email me.
Thank you.
