New Year Resolutions

New Years Resolutions

2005 has come to an end! Most people wait until now before making their new years resolutions. Why wait? You decide your own future so therefore shouldn’t have to wait for anything in life. If you want something to happen then make it happen.

Goal setting has become a crucial part of my life and without them I feel I wouldn’t be as motivated to achieve as I am now. I have daily, weekly, short-term and long-term goals to keep me focused, driven, motivated and inspired. I simply want to be a better me, that’s all.

Rae gave thanks in her post today and I think this is something important as we don’t travel down the road of life alone. It takes a multitude of people to get us where we are today and they shouldn’t go without being recognised and appreciated. She is an incredibly positive person with a beautiful energy and in my opinion a great ambassador to figure competing.

Katie is my new-found friend of whom I’ve only recently met. Together we’re embarking on an adventure where we will help one another prepare for next seasons figure competition. Competing has never looked so exciting.

My Husband, my pillar of strength. He certainly has taken on the good times and the bad times but at the end of the day continues to love me unconditionally. He is the worlds greatest husband!

My Mum has supported me throughout my year and who I’ve inspired to improve her own physical appearance. That’s the greatest reward in itself.

My Dad made it through another year and for that I am eternally grateful. Fingers crossed that in the new year another donor kidney will become available to ensure that he lives long enough to be a grandfather.

It’s the simple things in life that matter. Learn from your mistakes for they become your lessons. May you all have a happy and safe new year!

Hi Wendy! I’m extremely proud of what I’ve achieved so far and am excited about where it’s going to take me. Tasmania is truly beautiful and I would love to visit there again. xxx
